Watermatters has terminated business with Berkey Water Systems

Watermatters has been selling Berkeys since 2010. Berkey systems have been well loved by our customers for years.

It is now time to end our relationship with Berkey due to ongoing quality control issues that have emerged over the past year and a half. The increasing frequency and severity of these issues are no longer tolerable.

Specifically, the quality and performance of Black Berkey filtration elements that have been supplied to Watermatters by Berkey over the past 18 months have become increasingly unpredictable.

Despite extensive feedback and dialogue, New Millennium Concepts Ltd (the Berkey parent company) has demonstrated no genuine attempt to correct these problems. Consequently, Watermatters has stopped buying product from NMCL. This is a stunning turn of events given our long history as a Berkey dealer.

New source, new solution for Berkey users

Many of you are long time Berkey users who have become attached to the benefits of using a gravity system to filter your water. No worries. We have a solution.
After an extensive search, Watermatters has found an alternative filter to use with your existing Berkey system.

We are currently waiting for the arrival of the first shipment, due the first week of April 2023.
Price and further details will be available at that time.

Remaining stock of Berkey stainless steel housings

We still have some remaining Berkey systems (Travel, Big, Royal, Imperial, Crown) in stock that will be outfitted and sold with the new filters, once they arrive.

We also have stock of stands for the steel gravity filters, and the original style of sight glass spigots.
