Purica Steel Bottles Details

Stainless Steel Water Bottles – non-toxic and BPA-free.

Purica STEEL water bottles are constructed from high-quality, food grade 304 stainless steel which has been quality-tested by a lab in Vancouver, BC. They are non-toxic and free of bisphenol-A, a hormone disruptor that leaches from some plastic water bottles.

Stainless steel has excellent stain resistance making it  a preferred material for contact with food and beverages. It is easy to clean, durable, inert and sanitary.

Why stainless steel instead of aluminum?

Unlike aluminum, which is toxic to humans, high quality stainless steel will not leach chemicals when it comes in contact with your beverage. It does not have to be lined and has the same integrity as the stainless steel you use for knives, forks and good cookware. In contrast, aluminum bottles are usually lined with a coating of epoxy  which can leach chemicals, or ceramic which can crack.

BPA in plastic bottles declared toxic by Health Canada

Don’t mess with plastic water bottles and BPA (Bisphenol-A) which has been declared a toxic substance by Health Canada.

“It is concluded that bisphenol A be considered as a substance that may be entering the environment in a quantity or concentration or under conditions that constitute or may constitute a danger in Canada to human life or health,” said officials from Health Canada and Environment Canada on October 17, 2008.
