The First Need® Deluxe portable water purifier is certified to meet US EPA Microbiological Guide Standard against virus, bacteria (E.Coli) and cysts (Cryptosporida, Giardia) – without using chlorine or iodine. It also excels at the removal of chemical pesticides, herbicides and foul taste, odor and color.

It’s compact and light weight. You simply flip off the bottom cover and pump directly into a water bottle or use the “hands-free” gravity feed kit that’s included.

Drop the attached pre-filter into your source water. Pump for 1 minute to yield 1.7 litre of purified water. No double pumping or wait time required. Intended for cold water use only.

How it works.

Ultrafine microstraining creates an ultra-fine protective barrier to water-borne bacteria, cysts and larger particles.

With water filters that rely on pesticides (chlorine and iodine), you consume the dead organisms including the dissolved toxins and pesticides added to the water.
